Central Texas floods
Skylyn learned that Airbnb.org was providing free, emergency housing to those impacted by the floods through All Hands and Hearts. She reached out and was quickly able to book an Airbnb.org stay nearby. This place gave her son space to play and allowed her to figure out next steps.

What areas does Airbnb.org provide housing for?
Airbnb.org delivers its purpose through three primary programs, each addressing a distinct housing need.
- Emergency response stays: Support people displaced by disasters or emergencies and individuals supporting critical crisis response efforts
- Medical stays: Support individuals and families who must travel for medical care, are experiencing hardship due to serious illness, or delivering critical services as medical professionals
- Resettlement stays: Support individuals and families forcibly displaced from their homes, are resettling in new communities, and have been classified as refugees or granted similar protected status
What does an organization need to do to become an Airbnb.org partner?
To become a partner, you’ll be assigned someone from the Airbnb.org team and will follow these steps together.
- Work with your Airbnb.org contact to confirm that your mission, programs, and geographic focus align with Airbnb.org’s goals of providing temporary housing to people in times of crisis
- Participate in training on the Airbnb.org emergency response, medical stays, or resettlement programs
- Be willing to refer individuals impacted by the disasters or crises for emergency housing
